Marxist feminism

This flow views the problem of women in the framework of criticism of capitalism. The assumption is that the source of women's oppression comes from the exploitation of the class and the method of production. Friedrich Engels's theory was developed into the foundation of this flow — the status of women fell due to the concept of private property. The production activities which were originally intended to meet the needs of their own were changed to the needs of exchange.
Men control production for exchange and as a consequence they dominate social relations. Whereas women are reduced to part of property. Profit-oriented production systems result in the formation of classes in society - bourgeoisie and proletariat. If capitalism falls, the structure of society can be improved and the oppression of women removed.
